Successful Start of New Batch Plant at O-I New Zealand
After several stages of construction, the new Batch Plant at O-I New Zealand was commissioned successfully in September 2010 under the direction and the basic design of the company ZIPPE. During running production the new Batch Plant was installed in an existing area, within very narrow space, extremely unfavourable ground (volcanic stone) and adapted to the existing batch plant. Furthermore the batch transport to the existing furnaces as well as to the new one was implemented.
